Years ago, one of St. Thomas’ sons desired to create a unique rum that was distilled on the island. Rock City Rum understands that blending quality ingredients is the key to any rum, and through careful attention, the recipe for Rock City Rum was perfected and is available today.

Fort Christian
Fort Christian is located directly across the street from the distillery. It is a historic landmark located in the heart of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Built in the late 1600s by Danish settlers, it is the oldest standing structure in the Virgin Islands. Originally constructed for defense, the fort has served various roles over the centuries, including as a government building and prison. Today, it stands as a museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the island’s colonial past through exhibits, artifacts, and panoramic views of the harbor. Its distinctive red exterior and rich history make it a must-see attraction in Charlotte Amalie.

Emancipation Garden
Emancipation Garden is a historic park located in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. 99 Steps
The 99 Steps is a historic staircase located in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Constructed in the mid-18th century by Danish settlers, the steps were built to navigate the town\'s steep hillsides. Despite the name, the staircase comprises 103 steps, crafted from bricks that were transported from Denmark as ship ballast. Lined with vibrant flowers and lush greenery, the steps lead up to Blackbeard\'s Castle, a 17th-century watchtower. The 99 Steps remains a popular attraction, offering visitors a glimpse into the island\'s colonial past and panoramic views of Charlotte Amalie.

Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church
Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church was established in 1666, the same year that Erik Nelson Smith took formal possession of the island of St. Thomas in the name of the Danish West Indies Company.

It is is a historic Lutheran church with a rich history dating back to the 17th century. The church was instrumental in the emancipation of slaves, with the church wardens freeing slaves owned by the church for parsonage use in 1845, and Governor Peter van Scholten later granting unconditional emancipation to all slaves in 1848. The church also plays a role in nurturing its members spiritually, socially, and culturally, particularly its youth and elders.
